Our Safety Concern

In our operations we hold the safety of our workers and equipment at very high esteem, as a deficiency in one will mean failure of the operation. Towards achieving this objective, all necessary PPEs as required in the particular operation are provided for the workers. A well-stocked first aid kit is always at hand with each crew at site to take care of minor field emergencies as they occur. A first aider on crew usually administers this. However, more serious cases are referred to the retainer ship clinic or nearest hospital/health center for appropriate attention.

FIELD OPERATION:

Our strategies for field operations are usually designed to follow closely the system of operation of our client, if any is in place, to avoid conflict of interest; otherwise we operate in such a way as to make the best use of time and facilities available to meet our target, in line with established professional ethics and standards.

PERSONNEL:

Our crew of competent and experienced personnel, the head of which is a registered surveyor, with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON), and a member of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS) is an asset to us in all our field operations. This we cannot compromise. Our survey crews are headed by graduate surveyors with wealth of experience and proven leadership qualities. This is an asset in an area of community/youths related issues as survey operations are located in communities which are known to be volatile in their dealings with strangers, particularly oil companies’ related contractors. Our subordinate field men such as survey assistants and field assistants are qualified technicians and technologists with the required qualifications and field experience, and with the right attitude to work and willingness to accept responsibility from senior colleagues. They are all competent and reliable in their own areas and are capable of handling all aspects of survey operations. They are all medically certified and competent swimmers.

In conclusion, the MD (Surv. F.O.Aleke) and the Project Manager (Surv. C.C. Ukaobi) are conversant with the terrain and working conditions of most Niger-Delta areas and environs, having executed most of the survey jobs with over 25years experience. With them in our team, including other equally experienced hands, we are so confident and proud to say that we can deliver without failure, on any survey project.
